Because we want to make sure that your account is properly closed and ensure that it isn't an accident there will be a short delay to ensure your account is closed.
If you would like to close your GearUp account please submit your request by clicking the Help button in the lower right corner of the Help Center, through the Contact Us form in the app or sending an email to us here. Make sure to specify or select the reason type as an Account Closure Request.
We will wait at least 24 hours to action an account closure request. This gives you time to change your mind if you want to. After the 24 hours and within 48 hours we will send you a confirmation email when your account has been deleted.
If you make any sales or purchases on your account the payment information will be stored for security and accountability.
If you would like to request to waive the 24-hour cool-off period please reply to the automatic email response that you receive when your request has been received by our customer support team.
